Muhammad Asfandyar provides essential legal support in immigration and civil law matters, assisting attorneys through detailed case research, document preparation, and effective client communication.
Before joining Musaev & Associates, PC, Muhammad gained valuable experience at law firms and public offices in the United States, Pakistan, and Nepal. His experience includes positions as a Legal Associate at Sheikh Law Associates in Peshawar, Pakistan, specializing in contract negotiations, trial preparations, and legal research in business and civil law. He also served as a Research Assistant at Kathmandu School of Law in Nepal, where he contributed to academic conferences and legal research projects. Additionally, Muhammad served as a Law Clerk with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, supporting courtroom proceedings and gaining direct experience in prosecutorial practices.
Muhammad holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree with a Certificate in Transnational and Business Law from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Bachelor of Arts in Law and Political Science from the University of Peshawar.
Committed to human rights advocacy and education, Muhammad currently serves as the Country Coordinator for Pakistan with IHRP at Mahidol University, facilitating youth leadership programs in human rights education. His scholarly contributions include research on children’s rights, climate change policies, and international human rights law.
Muhammad has received notable scholarships, including the Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program in Indianapolis, and attended summer courses at The Hague Academy of International Law in Den Haag, Netherlands. He is actively engaged in community service, having worked with the Society for International Education (SIE) and the Pak-US Alumni Network (PUAN), contributing to over 100 community projects. Additionally, he volunteered as a Scoring Judge at LA County Mock Trial and UCLASSIC Mock Trial.
Muhammad is fluent in English, Urdu, and Pashto. He is licensed with the KP Bar Council in Pakistan.
